Total Communication Services Inc is a leader in the Business telecommunications industry, providing business telephone systems, connectivity including internet and phone lines, voice and data cabling, security solutions and sound masking solutions. Providing solutions across Canada for customers small and large. Some of our partnerships include Mitel, Telus, Shaw, TeraGo, Toshiba, PhoneSuite, AXIS and MPS (SoftDB) . We are currently looking for an Outside Sales Representative to join our team in Calgary.

Reporting to the VP of Sales, the Outside Sales Representative will have a passionate and energetic personality who is committed to providing the right solutions to our clients. The candidate will be responsible for generating new business through the identification and acquisition of new customers, lead generation activities and industry networking. You will be motivated to meet and exceed monthly sales objectives and build relationships with our current client database.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop plans and strategies to develop business opportunities
  • Researches, explores and identifies opportunities for business through various methods such as cold calling, referrals, networking and trade shows.
  • Prepares and delivers promotional material for prospective clients
  • Responds to sales inquiries and meets with potential customers to identify immediate and future needs.
  • Creates quotes and presentations, and that identify and provide solutions to prospective client’s
  • Meet and exceed sales targets
  • Communicates current sales activity and the forecast during regular weekly meetings
  • Maintains accurate records of all sales and prospecting activities
  • Work closely with the customer care team and technical team to ensure proper coordination of work and work roles.
  • Travel to multiple locations to meet and train clients and promote our company.

Skill Requirements:

  • 3+ years of B2B sales experience
  • A University Degree or College Diploma in business or sales
  • Experience in the Telecom/VoIP Industry
  • Strong understanding of voice and data connectivity
  • Strong understanding of networks, VLANs and what it takes to provide QOS on a voice solution
  • Strong understanding of SIP, VMware, hosted solutions and premised based solutions
  • Excellent communication skills, presentation and persuasive skills
  • Strong organization skills with the ability to prioritize
  • Proficiency with Microsoft office applications
  • Experience in Connectwise CRM platform an asset
  • Have a car, a valid driver’s license and good driving record.

Compensation:

  • Salary + commission

Salary is based on experience but motivated sales representative could make up to $100,000 to $150,000 in year 1.
