Telecom Aerial Crew Foreman

Edgar Trent Construction is currently looking for a Telecom Aerial Crew Foreman to run a crew primarily tasked with building fiber OSP.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead various size projects
• Ensures accuracy of time sheets and expense reports
• Develops work-around procedures for maintaining crew productivity during delays caused by other trades, customer, lack of materials, absenteeism, etc
• Monitors Quality Assurance and ensures installations meet customer specification and industry standards
• Ensures safety practices are observed by all crews during their work
• Reports, coordinates and supervises all aspects of a project

QUALIFICATIONS/ EXPERIENCE

• Preferred 5-7 years’ telecom-specific aerial experience.
• Experience working with and installing OPGW and ADSS Fiber Optics
• Knowledge of industry standards.
• Construction safety practices – JSA’s, tail gate meetings, hazard analysis
• Ability to lead and motivate a team.
• Class A CDL strongly preferred.
• Current and valid driver’s license with good record to operate company provided vehicle.
• Ability to perform work accurately and thoroughly.
• Dependable and trustworthy.
• Ability to look beyond the standard solutions.
• Availability to work and stay out of town
