Position Summary
Coordinating internet & telephony projects; account to account number transfers, porting, assist with acquisitions, regulatory changes, site moves, conversions, and system updates.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Requires daily involvement with AnswerNet Tech Services, Operations, NCSM, Finance, external Vendors, as well as occasional interaction with clients.
- Demonstrate effective internal communication with all levels of operations and tech services.
- Thorough understanding and use of best practices in how our Telephony technology is used and site data needs.
- Build positive relationships between the technical team and operations.
- Attention to details.
- Proactive problem solver.
- Work assigned Help desk tickets.
- Coordinate the installation of new internet services between vendor, site, and Team Infra.
- Assist other tech teams within the tech services department when needed based upon expertise/knowledge of work being done.
- Create presentations, summaries and training materials to ensure better communication and company-wide understanding of Telephony use and changes.
- Creating an ongoing knowledge base for Telecom services and process documentation.
- Continued learning telecom services and how they are used.
- Participate in new prospect demonstrations when needed.
- Understands Operations and customer requirements and impact of system issues.
- Determine the most effective way to operationalize fixes to lessen user/site impact.
- Able to work outside of business hours when necessary.
Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)
- AnswerNet experience working as an analyst with telecom services.
- Understanding of the answering service/call center environment and telecom impact.
- Understanding of Regulatory topics from a Telephony perspective.
- Thorough understanding of the telecom services from an operations and analyst perspective.
- Comfortable speaking in front of an audience.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to multi-task and manage simultaneous projects and initiatives.
- Strong planning, organization, critical thinking, decision-making skills and problem-solving aptitude.
- High degree of confidentiality, maturity, tactfulness and business ethics.
- Outside technology knowledge is a plus.
- Understands the importance of meeting deadlines.
- Good time management and task coordination skills
- Strong communication skills including the demonstrated ability to speak, listen, and write effectively (i.e. strong verbal, written, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills).
- Problem solving skills are a must as is the ability to present and implement out of the box ideas/thinking.
- Other requirements which may vary as determined by management.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $40,000.00 – $50,000.00 per year
