Summary:
From a staff position, and under general supervision, functions as a member of various multi-disciplinary teams or with assignments in complex Clinical and Business Information Technologies. Demonstrates strong analytical skills. Designs, develops, enhances, and tests complex Telecommunications systems using various tools in support of business and clinical operations. Models appropriate behavior as exemplified in MLH Mission, Vision and Values.
REQUIRED:
Associate’s degree in Computer Science.
SUBSTITUTIONS ALLOWED:
Three (3) years of applicable telecommunications experience, in lieu of education requirements.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
· Knowledge of information systems commensurate with education/experience.
· Demonstrated ability to exercise sound judgment.
· Demonstrated oral and written communication skills.
· Proficient in Microsoft Office
· Ability to multi-task
· Basic Voice over IP (VOIP) knowledge
· Basic knowledge of Microsoft Teams
· Basic Mobile Device Management (MDM) experience
Key Job Responsibilities:
§ Provide I.T. Tier 2 support
§ Regular interaction with Telecom Expense Management vendor regarding disputes, new/cancelled or changes to services.
§ Assist with monitoring Telecom support queues and assign tickets as required
§ Troubleshoot pager and mobile device issues. Work closely with telcom vendors to resolve customer issues
§ Manage inventory/usage of company owned mobile equipment such as pagers, hotspots and mobile devices.
§ Maintain reports relevant to operations of Telecommunications
§ Provide Tier 2 support to the Help Desk
§ Open tickets with vendors regarding phone related issues/outages
§ Provide support to Telecom team as needed
§ Assist with phone system voicemail resets
§ Work closely with Unified Communications on mobile device provisioning

Pay: From $47,000.00 per year
