SUMMARY: The Telecom Analyst role is to provide operational support and administer the telecommunications infrastructure for voice, video, and collaboration platforms.
How you will make an impact:

Support and manage all voice, video, and collaboration network hardware and equipment, including routers, switches, purposed built wireless equipment virtual appliances, and PON devices.

Operate and administer all core telecommunication network end user devices, equipment, hardware and software upgrades.

Coordinates the installation of telecommunication services at all Erickson Senior Living communities including its corporate locations

Performs monthly telecom billing reviews and cost allocations

Check IT Service Management database for entries on telecom network and network resource issues; prioritize and respond to service/incident tickets as appropriate.

What you will need:

Working technical knowledge of current network hardware, protocols, and standards

General knowledge of IP data and voice communication
-
Experience with general administration of Cisco Unified Communications platforms

Effective written and oral communication skills
-
Industry certifications such as CompTIA A+ and Network+, CCNA, and/or CCVP desired.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
-
Bachelors’ degree in the field of computer science, management information systems or a related discipline preferred.

In lieu of a Bachelor’s degree, a candidate with a minimum three years’ experience in a technical analytical position responsible for supporting unified communications environments may also be considered.
