Currently going through a large upgrade for hundreds of their retail locations and they are upgrading their stores from T1 to Ethernet. They are currently partnering with AT&T for the upgrades and are looking for a TEM analyst who has prior AT&T billing and ordering experience. This resource needs to be able to work heavily within Excel (V-lookups and pivot tables) and juggle several projects at once.

Primary Purpose:

Perform a variety of services required for effective operation of the department. Key recurring areas of service include:

• Analyze telecommunications (voice and data) services, spending and vendor management

• Act as a liaison between carriers and billing partners, managing relationships including billing, service, SLA’s, pricing and disputes

• Telecom Financial Reporting and Forecasting

Responsibilities include:

• Work with Telecom Expense Management (TEM) on invoice processing including cost center allocations, billing information updates, analysis of monthly invoices

• Experience in telecommunication asset management, circuit ordering, billing reconciliation and contract terms/conditions.

• Strong understanding of major Telecom Vendors provisioning and billing processes related to services POTS, T1, Ethernet, Broadband, VoIP, and Wireless services

• Maintain and manage circuit inventory both internally and with telecom and billing partners.

• Collaborate with key business partners to obtain supporting information

• Provide monthly reporting for financial period end as it relates to accruals, reclassifications and cost center allocations. Research variances relating to budgetary spend for Telecom/WAN.

• Complete month-end accounting activities, maintain internal analysis and respond to questions from Accounting and IT Services

• Develop materials to document operational end-to-end process flows

• Detail oriented and understands the key trends and levers that impact business.

• Ability to prioritize and handle multiple concurrent project tasks, work under pressure, and ensure high-quality deliverables and outcomes.

The Telecom Billing Analyst will be working on the Telecommunication team and be responsible for managing all the invoicing for the 1100+ retail stores across the US. This will be a long term position that will own the billing process and provide reports to the manager and Director of Infrastructure.

• Work with Telecom Expense Management System to ensure processes and system applications are up to date for invoicing purposes.

• Managing invoices and inventory for wireline and mobility.

• Responsible for tracking billing discrepancies, credits, and resolutions to submit to vendors.

• Assesses issues and develops resolutions in order to meet objectives, which include customer satisfaction, productivity and costs.

• Manage the processing, allocation, auditing of wireless and network carrier invoices.

• Maintain month end accrual reports to finance for final review

• Previous experience in telecommunications billing, analysis, and provisioning highly desired.

• accounting, general or specific to telecommunications, is a plus.

• Experience in telecommunication asset management, circuit ordering, billing reconciliation and contract terms/conditions.

• Excellent analytical skills and detail oriented

• Strong organizational skills

• Good communication, written, and interpersonal skills

• Self-starter with willingness to work hands-on

• Proficient in MS Office Tools (Excel and Word), SAP knowledge a plus
