POSITION SUMMARY:
This role is responsible for Enterprise Telecommunications in the US and Canada. Perform ordering processes as applied to any new locations, coordinating with multiple carriers, Construction team, IT Engineering and Operations teams. Perform Moves, Adds, Changes and Disconnects (MACD), coordinating MACD activities with Project Management, IT engineering and Operations teams. Maintain an accurate Telecom services inventory, including historical information about activities and billing. Assists in long term strategic Telecommunications planning. Reviews billing and filing of credits, enforcing Service Level Agreements, and ensuring filing and receipt of out of service credits.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Manage the procurement of telecommunication services through the telecom life cycle. Responsible for gathering requirements with Engineering teams from internal customers, requesting quotes and presenting solutions with quotes to engineers and internal customers for decision making. Insures service provider contracts are processed through internal contracts process and issues service orders to providers. Manages orders through the provider’s installation process and coordinates with internal teams to insure timely completion. Quickly escalates issues with providers to insure timely delivery. Provides timely and detailed installation documentation for installation teams and provides installation support to insure successful test and turn up.

Maintain, update, and enhance the telecom expense management (TEM) inventory in a database program. Inventory will include Carrier maintenance and Sales contact lists, Cabela’s Locations, Cabela’s technician information and Services inventories. Insures inventory items are updated, information is accurate and provides quick and reliable information needed for trouble-shooting. Provides reporting on inventory to include Inventory by Location and Customer service contact information, Carrier services reports, and Ad Hoc expense reporting as needed by Telecom and Engineering teams to be used in technology decisions.

Review of expiring carrier contracts for renegotiation, re-quote of competitive services or newer technology replacement. Provides recommendations to management team for course of action approval, insures billing is accurate to contracts.

Employs Telecom best practices in reviews of telecommunications invoices to identify overbilling by providers, audit of services in use to billing and proposes changes in services for optimum expense management, and monitors and enforces service level agreements. Requests appropriate credits and insures credits are issued on invoices. Maintains a report showing the financial impact of contract changes, billing disputes, credit requests and service technology changes. Supports Telecom Accounts Payable in insuring appropriate general ledgers are charged for the services, and appropriate accruals are entered on new projects.

Assist in revenue and expense forecasting related to annual telecom budget and expenditures. Defines scope, budget and schedule estimates for business telecommunications projects. Accurately tracks budget and schedule estimates to insure targets are met.

Coordinate, schedule and communicate carrier maintenance activities using established reporting methods.

Document repeatable process and procedures as related to Provisioning and inventory activities.

EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum Degree Required: Associate’s Degree
Experience: 2+ years carrier provisioning experience required; Proficient in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook); Understanding of Database operations and functions required; Working knowledge of Microsoft Visio preferred
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITY

Project manage carriers, telecom related services and internal teams for any current projects and drive to deadlines

Must quickly assess carrier ability to deliver service and escalate issues with carrier and management team

Proven ability to coordinate and drive troubleshooting efforts and conference calls.

Understanding of layer 2 telephony transports (ISDN PRI, T1, DS-3, OC-3 ,SIP trunking, etc.)

Strong customer service, communication and interpersonal skills. •Proven ability and desire to work as a member of a team.

Ability to appropriately assess risk. •Knowledge of different carriers pricing discount plans and how to best optimize their plans.

Manage multiple projects from start to finish.

Completes special projects or other duties as assigned. •Keep current with the latest technologies
