Manage daily cabling needs and MACS.
Maintain/repair fiber optic cables, elevator phone circuits
Rack and stack Network Equipment
Emergency Call Boxes-troubleshooting and repair
DSL Lines-Troubleshoot and open tickets with Carrier.
Cafeteria Network-support network for cash registers, etc.
Escort and provide support to Telecom Carriers that need to do new installs, maintenance, troubleshooting.
1MB/FB lines, new cross connects, moving them, ordering new, troubleshooting issues
Special circuits-extend or move to new locations
Modem lines (i.e. Security modems, or monitoring devices)
Some minor AV support, isolate trouble, re-terminate cross connects or move cross connects.
Activation of all network ports (i.e. staff need additional connection, support on site vendors, etc.)
General troubleshooting (i.e. voip phone not working)
Support major moves and provide after care support
Day to day moves
Set up network hubs and phones for all FDA inspections and audits
Resolve wiring or jack problems
Troubleshooting PRI/Circuit and DIDs issues
Work with client to deploy equipment to areas that need additional coverage
Moves/Add/Changes
Update Filemaker Cable Database
Manage fax lines ordered, troubleshoot issues, disconnect when needed
Assign feed pairs
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 – $30.00 per hour

Education:
- High school or equivalent (Preferred)
Experience:
- Telecommunication/Cabling: 2 years (Required)
