TELECOM CONSTRUCTION WORKER

LOCATION: Langley, WA

DUTIES WILL INCLUDE, BUT NOT NECESSARILY BE LIMITED TO:

• Preps sites for underground Telecom installations.
• Manually locates buried utility lines.
• Fits together the proper conduit for the job at hand.
• Places and maintains cable/fiber within underground conduit system.
• Organizes supplies and materials for scheduled jobs.
• Loads and unloads compactor/materials.
• Sets Taps and Nids on buildings.
• Pull cable/fiber through existing conduit.
• Leaves work area neat using rakes, brooms and shovels.
• Maintains right-of-ways, including patching roadways and backfill areas.
• Installs and maintains pedestals, carrier sites and equipment at subscriber locations.
• Operates digging and trenching equipment.

• All tasks are done outdoors.
• Operate as a Team Member.
• Other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• Ability to lift 70# frequently.
• Must have a valid Washington State Driver’s license and insurable driving.
• Ability to travel through Canada-US border.
• Background check required.
• Pre-employment and on-going random drug screens.
• Ability to be a positive team member in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be eligible to work in the USA.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Landscaping, construction or general laborer experience.

Salary range – $20.00-$35.00 per hour

Salary ranges are based on available market data for the business sector and geographic location.
