CEIs Fortune 30 Client in Media and Telecommunications is adding a Planning & Design Engineer to their Node Split and Genesis team! This position involves quality checking Coax/Fiber/Node designs received from intake teams.

Responsibilities:
- Assists with project status to ensure progress toward completion and required procedural steps are completed fully and in a timely manner.
- Creates construction jobs from a variety of intake sources.
- Validate documentation and information available to proceed.
- Where needed, obtains additional information to move the job forward.
- Participate in the design of broadband communication systems using various design software packages.
- Prepare special keys, charts, diagrams and graphic drawings for use by other departments.
- Update and maintain system maps, keys, and design files.
- Tracks and keeps current system spreadsheets and documents.
Qualifications:
- Familiarity with node prints
- Coax/Fiber cable plant knowledge
Required Skills:
- AutoCad, Spatial Net, or Bentley experience
- Excel/Data entry skills
- Salesforce is preferred

Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $27.00 – $31.00 per hour
