JOB DESCRIPTION
- Design or configure wired, wireless, and satellite communications systems for voice, video, and data services. Supervise installation, service, and maintenance.
- Plan and design backbone distribution, cable pathways, Audio-visual, and telecom space drawings and schematics for commercial and industrial buildings using CAD software.
- Partner with an external company to do these telecom designs.
- Team lead sits in design reviews and he needs help going through these design reviews to hand off to external company to do CAD drawings.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- 6+ years of experience
- Experience working on the design and review of cable structures.
- Experience creating basic circuit design to deploy the wireless network in the field.
- Experience with end-end low voltage cabling.
- Experience working with cabling from point A to point B.
- Ex: will need cable trays running across the ceiling of the factory and once installed, the low voltage cable company goes in and will install.
DESIRED SKILLS
- CAD or AUTOCAD experience
- Commercial/factory/hospital enviornment would be great.
