Telecom Engineer:
One of our large Healthcare customers has an Telecom Engineer out on leave for minimum 3 months and is looking for an engineer to backfill him. This will start as a 3 month contract need, but there is a strong chance this could go longer and possibly turn into a full time need. The person going on leave is a valued & tenured member of the team. Without this person, day to day duties will go unfulfilled.
This resource will be helping with the escalated ticket queue (work orders and incidents) and provide onsite and remote support to the main hospital and some of the local ambulatory sites. A bulk of the work will be on Cisco Desk and wireless phones, updated extensions and scripts, and troubleshooting mid-level phone/telecom issues.

Design, manage, and maintain a large scale voice Infrastructure.

Experience with Cisco Voice platforms: Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CUCM), Unity and (UCCX) Cisco Unified Contact Center Express

Responsible for ongoing maintenance and updates of network and voice infrastructure.
-
Manage, configure, troubleshoot and assure service supporting all aspects of a Cisco voice. Must be organized, document oriented, possess skills in Visio diagramming, and understand WAN principals.
Additional Duties And Responsibilities

Develop technical policy and work instructions and reporting in support of an Enterprise IP telephony network.

Provide training and technical guidance to junior -or- Sr. team members.

Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical problems utilizing expert knowledge of SIP signaling and call-flows.

Troubleshoot remote site registration, signaling and media problems.
-
Configure route plans, route lists, device profiles, calling search spaces, and route partitions. Validate change requests and ensure accuracy.

Manage troubleshoot and configure Cisco Unity Connection features, subscribers, call handlers and call routing rules.

Provide technical resource services for Information Technology network and voice projects.

Manage troubleshoot and configure Cisco Voice Gateways.
Requirements
-
CCNA, CCNA Voice or Higher certifications.

Experience supporting Cisco Voice environment.

Working knowledge of Call Manager, Unity Connection and Cisco Unified Contact Center Express.

Team player mentality and willingness to share knowledge with other team members.

The candidate must have the technical skills and integrity to meet and exceed customer expectations.
Desired Skills

Experience with Cisco Unified Contact Center Express.

Experience in Cisco routing and switching.

Familiarity with supporting Voice environment within the Healthcare industry.

Work Environment
This team handles routers, switches, WAN, LAN, network infrastructure, call manager and contact center, voice gateways. There are a total of 10 people. 4 telecom engineers, 6 network engineers, some have skills in wireless. This person will need to go into the office 2-3 days per week.
