Description • Minimum 10+ years of industry experience with 5+ years of relevant experience with various Telecom tools and technologies.
• Minimum required skills include an understanding of the Cisco UC platform (which includes Emergency Responder, Communications Manager 11.X, Unity Connection, Call Center Express, IM & Presence, Intelligence Center, and VCS Expressway MRA).
• IPC Turret (would be a plus) advanced admin certification in order to troubleshoot, and maintain, the trading turret platform.
• Experience with instrumenting telecom infrastructure and services with monitoring, alerting, logging, and distributed tracing tools.
• Knowledge to provide Technical Expertise to tier 1 and 2 support teams
• Ability to collaborate with Business Champions and Engineering Teams, collecting business and technical requirements and designing/delivering enterprise-level solutions
• Experience working in an ITIL framework, following and applying configuration and security standards and policies within a defined change management process
• Analyze SIP traffic to troubleshoot call quality, media gateways and SBC’s Requirements
§ Assume an invaluable role in ensuring the long-term stability and scalability of our platforms & services.
§ Help implementing best practices, industry standards and security measures to ensure that we are providing world class telecom solutions to our teams.
§ Assist in building and enhancing internal tools and workflows to improve automation and efficiency.
§ Have the motivation to learn new tools, technologies, and the drive to continuously ensure that the end products are high-performing, highly available, highly scalable and secured that our business partners can trust.
