Job Title: Telecom Engineer III

Locations: Parsippany, NJ. Remote is possible

Expected Project Duration: 8 months

Job Description:

At least 5 years relevant experience required. Establishes networking environment by designing system configuration; directing system installation; defining, documenting, and enforcing system standards. Maximizes network performance by monitoring performance; troubleshooting network problems and outages; scheduling upgrades; collaborating with network architects on network optimization. Secures network system by establishing and enforcing policies; defining and monitoring access. Accomplishes information systems and organization mission by completing related results as needed. Reporting network operational status by gathering, prioritizing information; managing projects.

Unix/Linux CLI

Load Balancers (basic)

Routers (basic)

Database (basic)

Daily Tasks – Reviewing CMDB, update data, review issues/tickets/emails, update systems as needed. Attend meetings w/ vendor and design counterparts.

Preferred background/prior work experience – 3+ years operational support in technical environment.

Priority soft skills – Written and spoken communication, self-starter/initiative, and ability to work with others.
