What to Expect

As Tesla continues to expand in all regions of the globe, IT is seeking a highly motivated Telco Inventory Analyst who can think strategically and act tactically. As a member of the Global Telco Ordering Team you will be responsible for tracking the invoicing and inventory of all telecommunication services for all Tesla energy locations within North America and Europe.

The ideal candidate will thrive at Tesla by striking the right balance between tactical execution, data-driven analysis, and vendor management.


What You’ll Do

  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of Tesla’s energy inventory of Telco services across North America and Europe
  • Ensure that proper GL accounting of all telecom services is allocated to respective cost centers and locations worldwide.
  • Reconcile all invoices against internal circuit inventory.
  • Correct any errors with the internal inventory and dispute vendor errors with the carriers directly
  • Analyze, optimize, document, and automate key telco inventory and billing processes


What You’ll Bring

  • Extensive (5 or more years) experience with telecommunications inventory and billing reconciliation practices
  • Deep experience with North American and European Telco carriers, technologies, and region-specific processes
  • Knowledge and experience with the following: spreadsheets, purchasing systems, inventory systems, telecommunications technologies, and financial activities in an enterprise (budgeting, cost savings, POs, invoices)
  • Excellent attention to details and process discipline
  • Ability to critically analyze internal and external process and drive improvements to completion
  • Self-managed and committed to working in a fast-paced environment
  • Professional communication skills and ability to speak, read, and write in the English language.
  • Ability to function independently towards a common directive without need for consistent oversight.
