Telecom NOC Supervisor

Key Aspects of this role:

• This job is required ON-SITE only.
• Pay: 85-95K/year + benefits, holidays
• We are looking for someone who has a telecommunciations background (you worked at ATT/Comcast/RCN, etc).

Responsible for supervising the Network Operations Centre team to deliver superior customer service and techncial support for our valued clients. In case of major failures, takes action and ensures a rapid and efficient communication to key stockholders and assists in achieving resolution adhering to service level objectives and agreements.

Manage day to day deliverables during the shift, under the overall direction of the NOC Manager. The primary accountability of this position is to ensure that all work deliverables during the shift are efficiently managed with strong delivery and prompt escalations to the manager positions as needed. Engage other teams or escalate to L2/L3 teams as necessary. Smooth takeover of work as well as well documented and smooth hand over is part of the accountability.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Reviews and assigns work orders and trouble tickers to staff.
• Oversees day to day operations to ensure work is completed accurately and closed in a timely manner.
• Assist with the evaluation of new products, systems and equipment for the NOC.
• Manage staff of Network Operations Center (NOC) to include performance evaluations.
• Assist in the hiring and training of new personnel.
• Works special projects assigned by the Manager of Network Operations.
• Detection, dispatch and follow-up on all incidents
• Lead Post-Mortem
• Facilitate communication with the management team
• Review Technical Changes
• Manage urgent requests
• Manage and improve all operational aspects, to add value – increasing the quality of our service offerings – end to end.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $85,000.00 – $95,000.00 per year
