These services include site acquisition, design and construction, to full operations, maintenance, and deconstruction.

An excellent opportunity for an experienced Operations Director who has experience and existing relationships in the Central US markets. This position can be based in any location, but the ideal candidate would be in the Minnesota, Chicago IL, New England or Washington-Baltimore markets.

Plans, directs and coordinates engineering projects to ensure client goals or objectives are accomplished within prescribed time frame and funding parameters. This is the highest level of Project Management at which the individual is responsible for the full performance of every phase of a major project or a group of smaller projects. The responsibilities include planning, directing, supervising and controlling all technical, fiscal and administrative functions of contractual activities.

Here’s What You’ll Need:

• 10+ years experience required in operations management of telecommunication projects and programs
• Available to travel as necessary, for extended periods of time, in support of project deployments and initiatives
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Must excel in coordinating and steering major projects with multi-million dollar budgets and building and leading top performing teams with a demonstrated history
• Demonstrated history of developing and building relationships with team members and customers
• Has a keen understanding of safety practices in the industry and will be a champion of Beyond Zero philosophy and prioritize the safe execution of any work
• Proficient with MS Word and Excel and management of large volumes of data
  • Ability to recognize trends and data integrity issues
  • Ability to manipulate data to formats easily communicated and understood (pivot tables, charts, graphs) and present accordingly with recommendation
• Experienced in the successful deployment of new markets and projects, including but not limited to;
  • Experienced establishing new project teams
  • Excels in supporting Talent Acquisition in hiring efforts
  • Establishing new office and warehouse locations – Excellent understanding of requirements to execute the work, cost analysis and CER process
  • Capable of leverage existing and develop new relationships with subcontractor ecosystem, local jurisdictions, customers, and industry partners, to support project execution
  • Experienced in establishing training for existing and new staff on processes, tools and functions as necessary
  • Develop Talent and support career development within the organization
• Detailed knowledge of Telecom business practices and processes (Site Acq, Engineering, Scoping, Procurement, Logistics, Construction, Technical Services, Sales and Business Development)
  • Background in process improvement and bust practices
  • History of identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing changes to improve efficiency
• US Citizen or eligible to work for any US employer without visa sponsorship

Essential Functions: Intermittent sitting, walking, standing, bending, squatting, climbing, kneeling, twisting, and lifting to 20 pounds. Hand manipulation is required for grasping, pushing and pulling, and fine manipulation. Right and/or left hands utilized. Need to reach and/or work above the shoulder, as well as below the shoulder for same. Must be alert to equipment in the field, there will be travel, will work near construction job site equipment when in the field, occasional need to work near hazardous equipment and machinery, occasional need to walk on uneven ground, exposure to dust, gas or fumes, exposure to noise, and extremes in temperature or humidity..
