Telecom Outside Plant Project Supervisor (CAD Design Exp Req) – REMOTE Description

Our client in the telecommunications industry is looking for a detail-oriented Telecom Outside Plant Project Supervisor to add to their team. This position offers the flexibility to work remotely for qualified candidates within a four-hour drive from their corporate office near Toledo, Ohio. In-person visits to the office are required for initial training, monthly meetings, and quarterly meetings. In this role, you will supervise a project team that generates outside plant telecom solutions and CAD designs. The ideal candidate has strong technical skills in outside plant telecom, plus a minimum of one year of supervisory experience. To be successful, you must be tech-savvy, an excellent problem solver, and able to lead a team through complex tasks. Telecom Outside Plant Project Supervisor (CAD Design Exp Req) – REMOTE Responsibilities

• Support multiple telecom projects across various clients
• Supervise project performance, personnel, and reporting
• Concurrently perform project work while supervising a team
• Complete 2-D drafting and design work to build, maintain, and improve telecom networks
• Provide solutions when the expected outcomes do not align with project requirements
• Execute work orders for infrastructure solutions and designs
• Complete projects with a focus on budget, quality, and timelines
• Research right of way, property rights, pole ownership, and permit requirements
• Learn customer-based software, as needed, to facilitate project work
• Review and interpret general designs, engineering schematics, data, and notes
• Mentor team members in professional development
• Complete and deliver annual performance reviews for assigned staff
• Collaborate and support Project Managers, Engineers, Field Techs, Drafters, & Designers

Telecom Outside Plant Project Supervisor (CAD Design Exp Req) – REMOTE Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in the telecom utility industry required
• 2+ years of CAD design experience required
• 1+ year of supervisory experience required
• Ability to read and comprehend engineering schematics required
• Ability to travel to the corporate office for initial training, monthly/quarterly meetings required
• Valid driver’s license, insurance, & reliable transportation required
