JOB TITLE: Pre-Sales Connectivity Specialist

REPORTS TO: Pre-Sales Connectivity Team Lead

SALARY RANGE: $60k – $68k

JOB SUMMARY:

The Pre-Sales Connectivity Specialist is responsible for supporting the Sales team. This person assists with the coordination and implementation of voice, data and network services as well as placing orders for customers needing new service, moves or additional circuits to support their network. This person will work closely with the carrier(s), customer(s), vendor(s) and all internal departments to ensure all aspects of implementation are coordinated, scheduled and ready on time.

Additional responsibilities for this role include process development and documentation, data management, client services research, and special projects as assigned.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Collaborating with the sales team to ensure all product offerings on proposals can satisfy customer requirements while ensuring the appropriate sales goals of the company.
• Support the sales team regarding carrier services.
• Accurately input service orders and sales contracts into the Ten4 portal
• Negotiate with carriers/agents for competitive rates on service offerings.
• Understand technology, competitors or alternatives and successfully position our products.
• Ensure the Carrier’s product can deliver on the customer’s network requirements.
• Engage directly with the Sales and Service Integration teams to support pre-sale activities.
• Develop excellent working relationships with partner organizations to ensure effective collaboration in responding to sales team and customer needs.
• Develop and maintain the required technical knowledge by attending relevant meetings, workshops and events by external vendors and providers.
• Support the development of the company’s quality processes and procedures.
• Other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:

• Five or more years of relevant telecom work experience is preferred
• Strong influence and negotiation skills
• Strong analysis and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Word, Excel)
• Organized and detail-oriented personality, with the ability to manage granular details without losing grasp of the higher-level plan
• Proven working experience in project management or carrier services is a plus
• Time management skills
• Articulate and confident methods of communicating both written and orally
• Ability to multitask and work on multiple projects simultaneously
• Team Player – a willingness to go above and beyond when needed
• Demonstrated problem solving skills

Pay: $60,000.00 – $68,000.00 per year
