Telecom Project Implementation Manager – Charlotte, NC/Hybrid
12 Month W2 Contract initially
The Project Implementation Manager will serve as a regional coordinator and is a key contributor in planning, scheduling, facilitating, the deployment of projects across all geographical regions where the company has vehicles. This position will be responsible for analyzing company functions, processes, and activities to improve computer-based business applications for the most effective use of money, materials, equipment, and people.
Responsibilities include:
- Plan, organize, and manage multiple business units and multiple locations to ensure successful installation of the LMR radio.
- Work with business units to validate vehicle counts and locations for onsite installation.
- Partner with business units to send and receive information in a timely manner for logistics (programming and kitting radios).
- Hold internal and external teams accountable, redirect when needed, and manage customer expectations throughout the engagement.
- Utilizes available computer systems resources and personnel to carry out analysis to support management’s quest for performance improvement.
- Reviews and analyzes information, forecasts, methods, schedules, systems, processes, and procedures.
- Determines most useful business solutions for the company.
- Recommends alternative solutions to management as to courses of action that best meet the organization’s goals.
- Performs duties concerned with the design and improvement of computer-based business systems.
- Works closely with senior managers to identify and solve a variety of computer-based business system problems.
- Analyzes requirements, procedures, and problems to automate processing or to improve existing business systems.
- Confers with personnel of organizational units involved to analyze current operational procedures and identify problems.
- Solicits from management symptoms of problem, formally defines the problem, breaks problem into component parts, and gathers information about each of these parts from a variety of sources.
- Selects the most appropriate analytical technique.
- Utilizes several study techniques including simulation, linear and nonlinear programming, dynamic programming, queuing and other stochastic-process models, Markov decision processes, econometric methods, data envelopment analysis, neural networks, expert systems, decision analysis, and the analytic hierarchy process.
- Writes description of business needs, business program functions, and steps required to develop or modify computer-based business systems.
- Reviews computer system capabilities, workflow, and scheduling limitations to determine if requested program or program change is possible within existing system.
- Studies existing computer-based business systems to evaluate effectiveness and develops new systems to improve production or workflow as required.
- Works effectively in a dynamic environment with changing priorities.
- Team player who effectively integrates, motivates, and builds relationships with cross-functional team members.
- Ability to influence, negotiate, resolve conflicts and achieve results through others who are not direct reports.
Qualifications/Skills:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience or equivalent military experience.
- 6-9 years of related work experience.
- Proficient in using Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.
- Experience with any of the following:
- Quality Assurance & Traceability
- Maintain and Report QA status
- Maintain and report requirements traceability
- Collect & Compare project performance data
- Produce performance report – Monitor KPI (Leading & Lagging indicators)
- Analyze actual performance with planned performance variances
- Assessing trends & evaluating possible alternatives
- Evaluate corrective actions / Trend Reporting for effectiveness
- Detailed Problem & Impact Analysis
- Develop Problem Statements
- Develop Business Cases
- Define and support the building of desirable, feasible, viable, and sustainable products that meet customer needs
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $50.00 – $55.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
