Telecom Project Manager

Utility Design Partners LLC (UDP) is seeking an experienced Project Manager to manage fiber optic installation projects throughout Baldwin County and the Mobile Area.

As a Project Manager, you will interface daily with our customer in a supervisory role in the buildout of a new Broadband Fiber Optic Network. This position will require you to report to a local office on a regular basis, however working from home some of the time may be acceptable.

This position is located in Baldwin County with the ability of working remotely at times if desired.

• Understanding of telecom design
• Comfortable working in various customer software platforms for progress reporting, circuit design, etc.
• Ability to review, understand and QC engineered drawings.

• Must have excellent work ethic and habits including dependability, punctuality, and time management skills

• Hands-on experience with Managing Construction Crews

• Detailed understanding of telecommunications fiber optic design

• Good computer and math skills

• Detail oriented

• Ability to meet deadlines

• Ability to read Field Engineers notes and customers blue prints

• Ability to effectively communicate with our customer, other Project Managers, Engineers, Drafters, etc. utilizing telecommunications terminology

• Possess the desire and ability to be an essential part of a friendly and results-driven team of Engineers, Project Managers, Designers and Installers..

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00 – $75,000.00 per year

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)
