Telecom Project Manager

Exciting Permanent hire role in Downtown Chicago for a Telecom Project Manager!

· Oversee Internet installation construction projects, with direction from the VP of Projects

· Survey new projects, develop a scope of work, provide equipment estimations, and develop Visio drawings and plans for each project

· Attend site surveys with customers and provide excellent communication

· Assist with project scheduling and staff scheduling

· Assist installation crews with a scope of work and direction for each project

· Ensure that project activities move according to predetermined schedules

· Assist in devising the project work plans and make revisions as needed

· Perform a periodic inspection of work sites

· Manage and control inventory use and track assets in and out of the warehouse

· Ensure project documents and checklist are complete for each project

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in project management or related business field
• 3 – 5 years’ experience in a project management capacity
• 2+ years’ experience in the telecommunications industry, with proven understanding of wiring and standards
• Excellent written and verbal communication and organizational skills with attention to detail
• Effective time management and logical decision-making ability
• Ability to lift heavy equipment and boxed inventory up to 60 pounds
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• The end client requires individuals working in this position to be fully vaccinated with the COVID-19 vaccine.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $95,000.00 – $100,000.00 per year
