Telecom Project Manager

Capital Technology is a rapidly growing full-service underground and aerial utility installation company based in Joplin, MO. Our services encompass not only that, but also vegetation trimming and removal, heavy equipment operation, pole placement and removal, as well as site restoration. We work in residential and commercial alike. We are skilled with fiber optic cables and in CATV. We excel at mobilizing quickly for emergency outages and in getting our jobs done in the timeframe dictated.

We are accepting applications and resumes for a Telecom Project Manager position. The Project Manager will be responsible for telecom projects, duties will include but are not limited to:

• Organize, manage, and plan projects to ensure completed on time and to specifications
• Maintain updated progress tracker and inventory log
• Exploring documentations to gain a deep understanding of project requirements
• Building and maintaining healthy and long-term relationships with vendors, clients, and other project managers
• Available 24/7 to address questions, concerns, and/or complaints throughout the project
• Direct both in-house and sub-contractor crews; this includes aerial, underground, coax, and fiber slicing
• Interpret OTDR fiber testing documents

• Review and understand sweep files for RF completed nodes
• Knowledge of cable TV blue prints and fiber splicing matrix
• Hands on QC throughout projects as well as final QC for invoicing
• Willingness to travel outside of Missouri

The successful candidate will have many roles in the process of securing work and is a vital part of the project cycle. The successful candidate will have the following skills:

• Well-developed written and verbal communication skills is required to liaise with vendors and clients, and write and present comprehensive reports

• Attention to detail is required to be detail-oriented because minor changes can greatly affect the overall cost of a project
• Time management skills to work on fixed deadlines

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $65,000.00 per year
