Telecom Project Manager (Fiber)

• At least 5 years of relevant experience is required.
• Manage all aspects of small to intermediate projects throughout the development lifecycle, including project scope, schedule, resources, quality, costs, and change.
• Work closely with stakeholders and define project parameters, then translate customer needs into formal requirements, using knowledge of the industry and delivery methodology.
• Develop detailed project schedule, resource plan, and status reports, managing task assignments to project resources and reporting on and managing project scope throughout the lifecycle.
• Interface with all areas affected by the project, including end-user, services organizations, vendors, and implementations partners.
• Review project deliverables for accuracy, and apprise management of risks, issues, and recommended mitigations.
• Ensure satisfactory transfer of custody and control of product upon handoff, then close all project documentation and archive appropriate records.

• Groups: (Internal) CMG, Engineering, Regional Development, and Operations; (External) Fiber vendors.
• Projects: Fiber deployment currently supporting numerous programs such as Retain, SMRA, 10G, Bandwidth upgrades, etc.

• Hosting many detailed calls with fiber vendors.
• Analysis of data around delivery milestones.
• Issue tracking and resolution.
• Working across numerous teams to drive delivery/completion/resolution.
• Work with many stakeholder teams via meetings/email/Slack.
• 
  Preferred background/prior work experience? Project/program management preferably engineering or network.
• Previous experience in deployment is a plus, specifically backhaul (e.g. fiber)

• Ability to work on many competing priorities and to prioritize in accordance with company/organization objectives.
• Hold people accountable & drive deliverables.
• Analysis & reporting.
