Job Description
Project Manager
Location: Remote
Duration: 12+ months contract

We’re hiring a self-motivated Project Manager with Telecom experience to be part of our team and ts a 100% remote work from home opportunity .
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of telecommunications experience, with an understanding of network topology and elements.
- Understanding of TDM network strongly preferred.
- Understanding of voice switches, including Lucent, Nortel, and Siemens.
- 5 years of project management experience.
- Proven experience managing multiple technical projects simultaneously.
- · Experience in project managing technical projects in the following areas are an asset: Telephony, Data, Fiber, PON, DSL, and Technical Operations.
- Vendor management experience preferred.
- PMP Certification Preferred
- Strong project management skills.
- Strong MS Office skills.
- Ability to use and navigate Smartsheet.
- Knowledge of M6 (Inventory Management System)
Responsibilities include :
- Responsible for the day-to-day management of voice engineering projects using project management tools, processes, and methodologies to ensure assigned projects are delivered on time and meet high quality standards.
- Assist the SPM in the development and distribution of project objectives, milestones, and schedules.
- Serve as point of contact for everything involving a project’s organization and timeline.
- Be engaged, with the ability to speak to status across all ongoing projects at any time.
- Demonstrate consistent ownership and accountability for the delivery of projects.
- Ensure that all project stakeholders have the required information and resources to carry out their respective tasks effectively.
- Continuously perform risk assessment, mitigate risk, and remove roadblocks independently.
- Coordinate with relevant internal team members to manage action items and timelines to meet business goals.
- Maintain comprehensive project documentation and provide regular streamlined reports to leadership.
- Continuously consider the triple constraint (time, cost and scope) with a specific focus on time reduction and minimizing cost.
- Provide best-in-class customer service.
- Perform other duties as requested.

Pay: $35.00 – $42.00 per hour
