We are growing fast and as such, have opportunities available for telecom riggers of all ability levels. We have openings available at our Surrey and Toronto offices. There is plenty of room for vertical advancement. Additionally, as a turnkey installation company, we provide opportunities to grow into other areas of the telecom industry. In this role, you will be a key member of a delivery team working on telecom projects including new site builds (towers and rooftops), small cell clusters, in-building DAS systems, antenna swaps/adds and new technology overlays such as 5G. Responsibilities:
- Greenfield wireless site construction including rooftops, towers, monopoles, DAS and small cells. ·
- Use of fall-arrest, fall restraint and positioning equipment to safely conduct work at heights. 100% tie-off at all times. ·
- Assembly and installation of steel structures including antenna mounts, cabinet base frames and wall-mounted hardware. ·
- Operation of power tools and equipment to fabricate and install various components of cell sites. ·
- Installation and testing of fiber-optic, coaxial and electrical cabling. · Daily reporting using our innovative smart phone application. ·
- Use of helicopters, snowmobiles, ATVs and other vehicles to access remote job sites.
Qualifications:
- Ability to effectively climb telecom and complete work on telecom towers at heights greater than 100 feet for multiple hours at a time. ·
- Physically capable of positioning oneself into working positions on towers and to lift steel tower members into place. ·
- Canadian residency or authorization to work in Canada. ·
- Experience working on construction sites and employing work site safety practices. ·
- Work in diverse environments from urban rooftops to remote mountain tops.
