Telecom Safety Inspector

Job Title: Telecom Safety Inspector
Pay Rate: $70.00/hour
Hours: 8AM-5PM Mon-Fri
Location Concord, CA – Onsite

Working knowledge of applicable safety rules, programs and safe work practices.
Provide safety inspection and safety oversight for 3rd party work near transmission towers or *** property
Monitor all work performed for safety watch and ensure that the quality and workmanship conform to company standards/guidelines and follow design and specifications.
Communicate with Project Manager(s), customers, and contractors concerning project issues and information.
Complete daily work logs regarding, work completed, issues, scope changes, job progress, submit job status memos, and report on schedules.
Tailboard contractors regarding safety and job scope
Foster a safe work environment by exhibiting an absolute commitment to safety for self and others
Identify hazards and unsafe conditions and act to resolve them

Travel is required 100% of the time
High School diploma, GED or equivalent work experience

Must be fully capable in reading and understanding all types if design, construction, and as-built drawings.
Must have OSHA-10 and OSHA-30
Supervision experience desired.
Must be capable of reading and understanding all types of drawings and recording as-built information
Must have computer skills – Microsoft Word, Excel, and Project Management, and be able to embrace new technology as it becomes available.
Ensure that customer needs and expectations are met
Ability to work alone with minimum direction
