Telecom Solutions Account Executives are expected to develop and close new revenue opportunities for our Fiber unit. AE identifies and develops new sales opportunities, provides product solutions, ensures customer satisfactions and maintains positive ongoing relationships to maximize sales for the company. AE introduces company products and services to new and/or existing customers and develops and maintains accurate sales and/or revenue forecasts and management of quota funnels.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Achieve Monthly Revenue and forecasting Targets
  • Develop and target tenants within On-Net building list
  • Schedule and attend sales meetings to present our value proposition and identify new opportunities
  • Provide competitive proposals, highlighting our value proposition
  • Act as primary point of contact for prospects and customers with On-Net Presence
  • Develop strong relationships with decision makers and influencers within network Footprint
  • Maintain account information in CRM system

Qualifications:

  • Strong prospecting, networking and business development skills
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills
  • Self-motivated team player
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Strong understanding of competitive landscape in Metro Ethernet and IP market (required)
  • Working knowledge of optical networking a plus
  • Knowledge of facilities-based fiber business within footprint
  • 3-5 years of successful selling technology-based solutions to Enterprise and/or Service Providers clients.
  • Current demonstrable successful experience working with Ethernet, optical transport, IP and dark fiber solutions a plus
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Proficiency in CRM platforms

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $85,000.00 – $100,000.00 per year
