GLOTECH, Inc. is seeking an experienced Telecom Specialist to support the corporate office of SeaWorld Parks & Entertainment located in Orlando, FL. The Telecom Specialist oversees voice communications for the enterprise using VOIP and traditional services, including Avaya PBX, mobile devices, local/long-distance/toll-free voice services, vendor activities, circuit provisioning, and troubleshooting. Responsible for Telecom expense and vendor management activities. This position also works with other infrastructure team members to develop a complete solution for new initiatives.

Manage the telecommunications expense management environment (wireline and wireless). Work with TEM provider and IT Leaders to resolve billing issues, contractual issues and provide system administration.

Implement, maintain, and troubleshoot Avaya telecom systems; perform routine systems administration and maintenance on local or remote locations with no impact to the business; proactively analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve telecommunications systems and circuit issues in a timely manner.

The Telecom Specialist is also responsible for telecommunications vendor management. This includes working with vendors to implement or improve business processes, expedite or escalate service orders and/or issues, and participate in the weekly status and quarterly performance review meetings to provide feedback and suggestions for service improvement with each vendor.

Planning, design, implementation, and management of projects deploying new technologies or software upgrades across the voice network; work with infrastructure team to develop and design and implementation plans for new initiatives and/or to resolve problems.

Maintain and manage the telecommunications contract management lifecycles.

Keep documentation up to date for all telecommunications systems such as system topologies, software releases, toll free numbers, and circuits.

Minimum of five years’ experience in voice telecommunications with experience in VoIP technologies and Avaya PBX

Experience working with and managing TEM provider and telecom billing

Expert level testing and trouble-shooting skills on phone systems and voice circuits

Expert knowledge and understanding of voice infrastructure (i.e. wiring, cabling, add, move, change configurations, T1/T3, local access, etc.)

Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical end users

Interface with telecommunications providers for install, troubleshooting support, and billing issues

Provide after hours on-call support and off hours maintenance

Skilled in diagnosing, solving complex problems and providing detailed technical analysis

Experience in Tango Telecom is preferred
