Telecom Staff Accountant – Remote

Salary: $25 – 30 per hour
Reference: M10CSA(4.10)-3

A telecommunications company is looking to add a staff accountant to their team in a remote role.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Balance all General Ledger accounts and maintain subsidiary records.
• Reconcile bank statements.
• Prepares and posts journal entries and reconciles accounts to ensure general ledger balances are accurate.
• Assists with preparation of financial reports.
• Create and post all month-end journal entries.
• Prepares sales tax submissions.
• Deposit Management
• Work with other departments of the organization as needed.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Must have strong computer skills with a working knowledge of Excel and Word.
• Short learning curve with new technologies and software programs.
• Maintain confidentiality of customer and company records.
• Work with minimum supervision.
• Ability to pay close attention to detail.
• Ability to locate and correct discrepancies in data.
• Be passionate about contributing to company goals and strategies.
• 
  NISC Billing and Software Experience Preferred

Benefits: as up to $2100/month towards company sponsored health insurance. Also, 10% of monthly wages is contributed by company to the employee’s savings plan
