Responsibilities
- Provides level 3 support and consults with customers on telecommunication systems.
- Assists with new technology research and design to ensure overall level of resources are maintained.
- Assists with performing daily database backups on all telecommunications systems.
- Ensures service level agreements (SLAs) are met and continue to meet the needs of customers. Provides support and resolution for customer issues.
- Assists in determining the production capacity needed to meet changing business demands. Ensures capacity planning deliverables are performed to specifications.
- Available for disaster recovery and on call support.
- Assists with resolution of invoice discrepancy issues.
Job Description
A client of Insight Global is seeking an Associate Telecom Engineer to join their team. They will be responsible for providing leadership and technical expertise for the company’s telecommunications technology infrastructure team. Ensure the performance and reliability of all services and exceed the needs of our businesses and clients. Implement processes and technologies to ensure highly available telecom resources are available to users.
Job Types: Contract, Full-time
Pay: $25.00 – $32.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
Experience:
- Technical support: 3 years (Required)
- UCaaS: 3 years (Preferred)
- Telecommunication: 3 years (Preferred)
