Telecom Support Specialist

S&L Computer Services is seeking a Telecom Support Specialist. Job duties and responsibilities include:

• Maintain phone systems and install new phones for clients
• Troubleshoot problems reported by clients.
• Maintain integrity of clients network and security.
• Ability to diagnose issues with VoIP issues
• Knowledge of Packet Capture software such as Wireshark
• Networking: VPN, VLan and other network issues impacting Voice Packets needed
• Ability to dial one on one with customers
• Work with local and national telecoms on install of Phone services.
• Administer servers, desktop computers, routers, switches, firewalls, security updates, patches and backup systems.

Candidate should have excellent communication skills, detail orientated, strong IT knowledge, ability to multitask and have 2 years’ experience in IT industry.
