SAC Wireless LLC
- Highly experienced in wireless network topology, responsible for managing the connectivity design, and monitoring the quality control for private LTE networks
- Manage and prepare physical layout plan for proper communication system site infrastructure, and support systems
- Prepares detailed technical designs of the highest complexity for additions, modifications and removal of company electric transmission facilities from onset through completion of project
- Prepares the construction packages with safe, reliable, and cost-effective designs that conform to company standards, safety orders, and governmental regulations
- Reviews complete project documents for conformity and quality assurance. Develops new techniques and/or improved processes, materials, or products. Assists upper-level management and staff as a technical specialist or advisor. Performs, reviews, and approves detailed equipment and design specifications.
- Manage quality control of third-party design firms, overseeing network diagrams including power, port connectivity, color-coding and RF plumbing diagrams
- Ability to review and complete electrical one line diagram, electrical panel schedule and grounding schematic
- Oversee and manage power load calculations for telecom equipment
- Project management of third-party stakeholders
- Perform field investigations of existing structures as necessary
- Assist in the network and electrical design characteristics of new, or modifications to, telecommunication structures and related infrastructure. (Monopole towers, lattice towers, guyed towers, water tanks above ground structures and underground structures, roof-top or wall-mounted related structures)
- Prepare comprehensive design calculations and report packages. Communications of engineered decisions to clients, coworkers, architects, engineers, and other personnel in a clear, comprehensible manner.
- Oversee designs and/or calculations prepared by other team staff members.
- Oversee drawing production and ensure engineered decisions are properly depicted.
- Coordinate multiple projects and staff simultaneously.
- Prioritize workflow and maintain client schedules.
- Provide consultation to staff and/or clients regarding construction practices, permitting processes, design requirements, cost estimates, and other project concerns.
- Perform site visits/field investigations to gather information or provide consultation to clients. This position might involve limited traveling
Qualifications:
- Proficient knowledge of the general practice of network engineering and the various building codes/standards currently in use.
- Telecommunication experience is required.
- B.S.E.E. or equivalent experience required
- State of California P.E. required
- Strong organizational, problem solving, and analytical skills with the ability to manage priorities and workflow.
- Project management experience required
- PMP certification a plus
- Ability to work independently and as a member of various teams or committees.
- Ability to make sound engineering judgments and justify them coherently and professionally to clients and co-workers.
- Experience AutoCAD and proficient with Microsoft Office.
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $35.00 – $40.00 per hour
