Telecom Technician – Cabling – IT

We are looking to fill up a position for a Cabling / IT / Telecommunications Technician.

The prospect should have experience primarily in telecom, also cabling, hardware,, information technology (IT).

Work cabling, cross-connecting and IT work in general.

Must have own transportation to come to work, reliable vehicle needed, clear driving record.

The job requires sometimes getting on a ladder to access a ceiling or truss to run cables.

There will be loads in the range of 25 to 50 lbs. that the applicants are expected to handle by themselves without any assistance.

Most of the work is indoors, in regular office environment, there are also locations that have no air conditioning, as industrial warehouses and parking garages. The applicants should be able to work in those conditions.

The applicants must be able to solve the problems that may arise on the job, being able to install, repair or replace a phone or cable, terminate and test it with instruments, install racks, patch panels, communicate with the customers, and create a good experience and environment for both, customer and worker.
