As a member of the Voice Engineering team, you’ll build communications solutions – including VHF dispatch radio systems and SIP PBX technologies – that connect our employees and allow them to do their jobs safely and effectively. This individual contributor role requires heavy teamwork and customer interaction. In addition to building new solutions to support the business, this role will be responsible for troubleshooting and fixing critical issues on production systems. An ideal candidate will have a passion for solving problems across all layers of the stack: hardware, networking, and application.
Accountabilities
- Research, design, and implement communications solutions to meet business customer’s needs.
- Provide 24×7 production systems support on a rotating basis
- Provide technical direction to support teams and customers.
- Coordinate and direct multiple teams to complete projects.
- Manage and maintain application specific hardware and software applications
Qualifications
Required
- A Bachelor’s degree or commensurate experience in this field
Preferred
- A Bachelor’s degree in Computer or Electrical Engineering or related field
- GPA of 3.0 or higher
Physical Requirements
- While performing the responsibilities of the job, the employee will spend extended hours in front of a computer screen
Work Conditions
- 18 years of age or older
