Unified Global Solutions is a Hosted VoIP company that works strictly with other businesses across the country to lower their phone bills and eliminate current phone headaches while providing functionality they often couldn’t previously afford. We are looking to add one talented individual to our activations team to ensure our customer installs complete.

As a member of our activations team, you will be responsible for effectively managing the on-site field service technician to accomplish our installations in an efficient and customer-satisfaction focused manner. You will work on the back end of our system, activating service transitions from the losing carrier, ensuring call testing is performed adequately, and utilizing screen share applications to configure a limited amount of on-site equipment.

You may be managing two installs at a given time, and ensuring you’re effectively communicating with each individual in the field as to next steps to ensure the install completes.

You will be supported by the activations manager as an escalation for field issues, network and platform engineers for network issues, provisioning and project managers for potential feature issues.

We expect you to offer:

Required Skills

-One or more years experience deploying and/or testing VoIP Solutions OR back end VoIP experience (not field related).

-Familiarity with VoIP endpoint technologies – priority given to those with NetSapiens experience

-Excellent analytical, spatial and communication skills (both verbal and written). Your assigned field service tech is your eyes and ears, but you must be able to realize when they have made a mistake when “things just don’t add up”.

-The ability to effectively multi-task in what can be a high pressure environment

-A completionist attitude rather than a “good-enough” mindset

THIS IS A FULLY REMOTE, NON-CUSTOMER FACING POSITION
