JOB DESCRIPTION:

Telecom / Wireless Construction Manager

Duration: -6+ months Contract to hire

Job Location: Kirkland, WA (ONSITE / NO REMOTE)

We are looking for a Wireless / Telecom Construction Manager to be part of our Wireless team in Kirkland, WA

Required skills:

We need a person

• Experience with Wireless / Telecom with actual Construction management.
• All the candidates we have seen lately have a ton of Commissioning and Integration experience or Switch experience but NO Construction experience.
• Who is motivated and will strive to find answers on their own without needing to be hand held.
• Who is comfortable in chaos and is not afraid to make a decision on their own.
• Who can adapt on the fly with the everyday changes we experience.
• ADAPTABILITY is essential.
• Who can handle an enormous workload and can wear multiple hats everyday.
• Who can figure things out on their own. CMs receive little to no direction on a daily basis and this individual will need to gather what information they can to make the best decision they can to keep sites moving forward.
• Who can budget their time in a very efficient manner.
• Who is a Team Player

Responsibilities include :

• Redlining CDs from start to finish
• BOM creation
• Price review/PO creation
• Site walks
• Reviewing COPs
• Negotiation with GCs and managing GCs
• Managing site construction
• Producing status reports
• Answering any/all construction related questions
• Coordinating with RF Engineering, Site Acq Teams, FE personnel, Power personnel, Management,and National, Managing all POST related site activities, and knowing how to use all internal Databases.
• This individual needs to have a very strong grasp of time management. They will be responsible for all items above and will need to balance all activities and keep everything moving forward.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $30.00 – $45.00 per hour

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Kirkland, WA: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Experience:

• Commissioning and Integration: 1 year (Preferred)
• BOM creation: 1 year (Preferred)
• Redlining Construction Documents: 1 year (Preferred)
• Wireless /Telecom Construction management: 5 years (Preferred)
• Managing site construction: 1 year (Preferred)
• Producing status reports: 1 year (Preferred)
