Telecommunication Conduit Installer

Affordable Commercial Construction is looking for a conduit installer.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• 0 to 4+ years of commercial electrical experience
• No Criminal Background- (No felonies, no current parole or probation).
• Good Driving Record- limited tickets and no DUI’s.
• Ability to pass pre-employment and random drug testing
• Must be able to lift 150lbs
• Must be willing to travel (In-state California travel only)
• Must be self-driven
• Must be able to use phone and phone apps proficiently (photos, google maps, GoCanvas)
• Must be able to install PVC, EMT, RIGID, FLEX, MC
• Must be able to complete tasks with minimal supervision
• Detail-oriented with strong communication skills
• Must be able to read simple construction drawings

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Trade School preferred but not required
• Proficient with bending pipe preferred

JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Installing underground and above ground conduit (pvc and rigid) in right-of-way locations for public utility cabinets.
• Responsible to meet weekly install quota.
• Utilizing interpersonal and verbal communication skills when dealing with residential homeowners and city inspectors. Patient, friendly and polite demeanor is required when interacting with residential homeowners and inspectors.
• Accurately report all work perforemed at each site.
