Telecommunication Project Analyst – Fully Remote

A large client of ours, a global financial consulting firm, is looking to add Telecommunication Project Analyst to their grant consultants team to analyze grant applications for a public sector client. The position is fully remote and a contract position that is set to run at least 2+ months. This opportunity could lead to additional projects with the consulting firm. Candidates must have a Bachelor’s Degree and 2+ years of direct public grant experience or Broadband Project analyst experience. Specific experience in the telecommunications field and in particular the build out of infrastructure is key in this opportunity.

Applicants must be able to start at project kickoff at the beginning of October 2022.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct merit reviews for grant applications to evaluate technical viability and develop written insights and recommendations
• Use an online tool/checklist and user guide and follow prescribed steps to review applications and move them forward in the application review process
• Use impartial, objective, unbiased expertise, knowledge and experience to evaluate or assess a proposal for its value, quality and likelihood of success
• Responsible for quality assurance practices and fostering completion and accuracy of tasks

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree
• Direct exposure to public grants (i.e., Federal, State, local, Tribal) a plus
• 2+ years of professional experience in a related industry (e.g., telecom, broadband infrastructure development/engineering, constructing/operating a broadband network, financial/budgetary analysis, and environmental permitting)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $30.00 – $50.00 per hour
