Telecommunication Utilities Construction Supervisor

Overview:

We are currently seeking an experienced Underground Utilities Construction Supervisor. The ideal candidate will plan and oversee field labor activities including determining a method of construction, manpower levels, material quantities, equipment needs, and work schedule. Responsible to make sure that projects are completed on schedule, within budget, and in a way that is safe and follows federal, state and local agency regulatory requirements.

All candidates must adhere to strict safety standards while ensuring the highest quality of work is completed efficiently and timely.

What you will do:

• Supervise all operations to ensure that all construction operations are completed in accordance with customer and industry specifications. This includes ensuring that all employees working on project are working safely and productively.
• create clear design Asbuilt maps detailing all new plant placed by construction for each job completed.
• Collect and combine all data related to new plant placed in relation to individual jobs completed.
• Assign and track materials needed for the daily operations.
• Assign daily production to in-house and subcontract laborers and crews
• Review and approve all production.
• Walkout projects and submit SOW totals
• Keep complete and submit job closeout packages
• Be aware of all vehicle and equipment needs and condition, as well as employee performance and needs
• Effectively write reports, internal site audits, and manage employee time sheets
• Review and interpret drawings and specifications
• Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Who we are looking for…

• You have at least 3 years of experience in the telecommunications industry
• You have a valid driver’s license (class “C” minimum) or be eligible and willing to obtain the required license for the position (possibly class “B” – light commercial)
• You have strong project management skills
• You have experience using Adobe.
• You have proficiency in the use of computers, office equipment, and office software.
• You have past supervisory experience
• You have the capability of working in all temperatures, climates, and weather conditions
• You have the ability to perform all essential functions of the job; including lifting up to 50 pounds and standing, climbing, driving, bending, and pushing/pulling throughout the shift as needed.

Pay: $65,000.00 – $104,000.00 per year
