Telecommunications Administrator Details:

• Direct Hire position
• $60,000.00 to $75,000.00 /annually
• First Shift (Monday through Friday from 08:00am to 05:00pm)

The Telecommunications Administrator is responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting company telecommunications infrastructure including networking and telephony systems.

• Design company telecommunications infrastructure including data and voice network hardware and software
• Deploy company telecommunications infrastructure including data and voice network hardware and software
• Document company telecommunications infrastructure including data and voice network hardware and software
• Test company telecommunications infrastructure including data and voice network hardware and software
• Perform maintenance on company telecommunications infrastructure including data and voice network hardware and software
• Work with users at various levels within the organization to determine requirements for operational needs and information processing options
• Perform continual assessment of available hardware and software enhancements and requirements to facilitate continued improvements in business operations.
• Provide analysis and use available tools to provide status reports to the IT Manager
• Coordinate’s disaster recovery planning and testing of telecommunications infrastructure including data and voice network hardware and software

Telecommunications Administrator Qualifications:

• Bachelors or higher in associated field preferred
• Knowledge of Cyber Security concepts
• Ability to oversee and complete complex projects with minimal supervision.
• Intermediate knowledge of Cisco networking and general networking concepts
• Knowledge of Apple, Linux, and Microsoft operating systems
• Provide telecommunications training and support to end-users as required.
• Must be able to lift 25 pounds, and on occasion up to 75 pounds.
