Telecom Analyst
Location: Nashville, TN or Dallas, TX (hybrid schedule)
Pay: $30-40/hr
Contract Duration: 6+ Months
Our client is looking for an Enterprise Telecom Analyst to support a fortune 100-company environment with national reach. This position provides support to the Enterprise for all aspects of the Telecom services lifecycle. The right person will be responsible for managing an up-to-date inventory of all telecom services, cost analysis of telephony integration, and reporting of findings to leadership. The Telecom Analyst will also be responsible for developing support model processes, documentation, and communication of those processes to our divisions. Other functions include maintaining phone hardware standards, DID tracking, helping obtain CSR’s from other telco vendors, managing call trees, reporting on number porting, and statusing on large projects with multiple locations.
In this role, you will interact with colleagues across the nation as well as multiple fortune 500 vendors. This position requires someone that has excellent verbal and written communication skills that can work with all levels of the organization including Executives. Project management and problem management skills are recommended to effectively meet business objectives and Service Level Agreements.
Job Requirements:
· Knowledge of basic telecommunication technologies, such as T1, DIA, SIP, PRI, POTS, 4G LTE, 5G.
· Understanding of the capabilities and limitations of a range of telephone models and data services equipment.
· Familiarity with the applications and interfaces associated with telephones and data services equipment.
· Telecom ordering experience preferred
· Knowledge of telecom industry terminology preferred
· Experience with an enterprise ticketing system
