General Dynamics Mission Systems has an immediate opening for a Telecommunications Analyst. The Telecommunications Analyst will provide intelligence support for contingency operations, battle staff and operational-level planning, joint and multi-lateral training exercises, and strategic engagement policy throughout the Areas of Operational Responsibility (AOR) and Areas of Interest (AOI). We’ll depend on you to analyze and evaluate methods for performing continuous appraisal of data from sampling, statistical analysis, evaluation, flow processing, and management assessment. Representative Duties and Tasks:

  • Telecommunications networks subject matter expert with strong critical thinking skills.
  • Experience leading multiple analytic teams for high priority customers.
  • Comfortable preparing and delivering senior level management analysis briefs
  • Experience with collection assets, with emphasis on access pursuit and recommending and implementing future collection operations
  • Expert in SIGDEV and SIGINT Analysis with the comfort level to mentor junior personnel
  • Analyzes a variety of information and intelligence relevant to the threats facing the systems, infrastructure, and resources critical to the nation, and develops relevant research studies and recommendations
  • Provides intelligence support for contingency operations, battle staff and operational-level planning, joint and multi-lateral training exercises, and strategic engagement policy throughout the Areas of Operational Responsibility (AOR) and Areas of Interest (AOI)
  • Analyzes and evaluates methods for performing continuous appraisal of data from sampling, statistical analysis, evaluation, flow processing, and management assessment
  • Researches, develops and/or prepare briefings and analyses which include narrative, tabular and/or graphic materials
  • Develops and maintains interaction with stakeholders to promote information sharing and collaboration in support of the development of a common situational awareness environment
  • Develops and disseminates standard operating procedures (SOPs), and validation criteria for personnel, entities, components, and Communities of Interest (COIs)
  • Interprets Intelligence Community policies, procedures, standards, guidelines, and objectives
  • Conducts data mining for unknown linkages in existing information and maintains integrated database tracking system for controlled correspondence
  • Analyzes, assimilates, and evaluates information relating to defined geographic or functional area of responsibility
  • Identifies and analyzes extremely complex and/or highly sensitive systems and instrumentation, methods, procedures, and processes
  • Maintains and/or monitors integrated database tracking system for controlled correspondence to ensure expedient review, processing, editing, duplication, issuance, cancellation, and/or distribution
  • Perform queries and analysis using national databases
  • Draft formal and informal reports of your findings
  • Deliver analytic and technical briefings, orally and in writing
  • Perform fusion of multiple intelligence disciplines

Knowledge Skills and Abilities:

  • Highly proficient understanding and wide application of technical principles, theories and concepts in the field
  • Provides technical solutions to a wide range of difficult problems

  • Signal Analysis, Protocal Analysis, Network Analysis
  • Cybersecurity Policies and Procedures
  • Computer Network Operations (CNO)
  • Familiarity with IC Tools and Databases

Education Requirements: *

Bachelor’s degree in a related specialized area or field or equivalent is required plus a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience; or Master’s degree plus a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience.

Clearance Requirements:

Active DoD TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance is required at time of hire. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $150,000.00 – $170,000.00 per year
