How You Will Make An Impact

As a member of the Infrastructure team, reporting to the Network and Telecom Team Lead, the Telecommunication Analyst will be responsible for maintaining Cisco Telecommunication and Network Infrastructure at WOHS

Core Competencies

Working independently and collaboratively with staff and clients, your job duties and responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Design, implement, support, and maintain telecommunication and networking infrastructure. Including, but not limited to, Cisco Unified Communications, UPS Battery, Cisco Network Systems-LAN/WAN/Wi-Fi and other network and communication systems as assigned.
  • Monitors the operation of telecom network systems. Performs complex duties relating to operations, installations, and/or maintenance for local, off-site, and/ or remote locations
  • Design, implement, and support UCCX queues, menus, reports, and dashboards. Excellent technical/non-technical communication skills required to meet with customers to determine design requirements
  • Design and planning for the continuous operation and expansion of telephony services at new and existing sites
  • Troubleshooting complex routing issues as required between multiple telephony systems (i.e. CUCM, MS Teams, Nortel, etc.)
  • Troubleshooting malfunctions of network hardware and software applications, telephones and security systems to resolve operational issues and restore services
  • Ability to identify and solve complex problems with minimal guidance
  • Assist with various other services as required or deemed necessary by the leader
  • Operate and maintain security firewalls/Virtual Private Network (site to Site VPN tunnels), Network Management Tools

You Have

  • University Degree or College Diploma in a computer related field or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a large corporate/healthcare setting preferred
  • Extensive hands-on experience with Cisco Unified Communications related technologies, which include, but are not limited to CUCM, Unity Connection, IM & Presence, Webex, Jabber, VCS / Expressway, Cisco Paging Server / Informacast, UCCX, Emergency Responder, and Voice Gateways.
  • Hands-on experience working with Nortel PBX is preferred
  • Hands-on experience with Cisco nexus, Catalyst environment and WIFI infrastructure
  • Experience with network security standards with a solid understanding of network-based security protocols and methods (e.g. IPsec, SSL, TLS, ACLs)
  • Must possess excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of Quality of Service, ITIL framework, and ISM Ticketing System
  • Must be self-motivated and able to work in a team environment
