SUMMARY OF POSITION :

Supervise the activities of a team of voice systems analysts working in one or more telecommunications technical areas. Provide first-level management of services and service levels associated with voice systems and cabling. Perform personnel actions (e.g., hires, fires, assignment to projects, performance appraisals) as required by the team. Provide project oversight (guidance, mentoring and intervention where required) for the set of projects that the team’s members are leading. Guide on-site evaluation, engineering, testing, and implementation. Conduct feasibility studies on strategic and tactical plans and the design of digital/analog systems. Evaluate voice services/technology for current and future network development. Meet budget goals and objectives. Provide technical assistance and guidance to less experienced Telecommunications Analysts.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Either: (a) Bachelor’s degree plus six additional years of related experience or (b) ten years total of related experience
