Patient First is accepting applications for Telecommunications Assistant Manager in the Glen Allen, VA area. Patient First provides a friendly work environment that promotes a team-oriented philosophy.
The responsibilities of this job include, but are not limited to the following:
- Maintaining the telephone and data communications network for the company;
- Assisting with all telecommunication and electronic system renovation projects;
- Maintaining security and fire detection systems;
- Monitoring back-up power center equipment;
- Maintaining surveillance camera systems;
- Assisting the Telecommunications Manager with facilities maintenance and center construction;
- Providing on-call support after hours.
Minimum education and professional requirements include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Associate degree or higher in a related field;
- Good organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks;
- Hands-on experience in the telecommunications or technology industry;
- Ability to provide technical support over the telephone in a professional and friendly manner;
- Previous customer service experience (preferred);
- Ability to travel overnight;
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (e.g., Excel, Word, and Outlook).
