The Telecom Business Analyst will be responsible for on-site support utilizing the Turning Point NIOS SW product and the customer’s Telecommunications Expense Management Solution (TEMS) system.

  • Providing support to the customer with data collection, order processing, inventory management, invoice upload and reconciliation, billing audits and reconciliation and technology upgrades.
  • Typical assignments include working with stakeholders in process definition and improvement, understanding and documenting business system requirements for telecom ordering approval flows, security roles, users, reporting, etc.
  • Participates in daily/weekly upload, validation, verification and reconciliation of inventory, and electronic invoices.
  • Optimize and cost reduction recommendations, documentation, and customer presentations.
  • Address Tier 1 support questions, refer technical issues and new requirements to Turning Point Tier 2 resolution and tracks issues to resolution.
  • Coordinates and develops regular reports and responds to ad-hoc data calls.
  • Provides required security/ATO documentation.
  • Telecom experience (e.g., repair, installation, upgrades, equipment, circuits, ordering, billing, activation, or implementation).
  • Telecom experience with Enterprise Infrastructure Solutions (EIS) transitions or implementations desired.
  • Proficiency with data analysis, billing analysis and associated tools (MS Excel).
  • Experience working with WEB based enterprise applications.
  • Ability to identify, analyze, and document business requirements.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills; previous customer facing experience.
  • Must be able to work with minimal day to day supervision and re-prioritize work effort to meet deadlines.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years Data Analysis experience.
  • Skilled in the development of documentation, customer reports, and data spreadsheets.
  • Ability to work with multiple cross functional teams.
  • Understanding of databases and troubleshooting, validating, exporting, and loading data.
  • Experience with GSA telecom contracts, telecom carrier web portals, and carrier service ordering.
  • Use of SQL and MS Project.
  • Ability to pass a federal background check (Public Trust) for facility access is required.


Education Requirement:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, cybersecurity, or related discipline
