This position consists of various customer support and customer facing service duties in the Telecommunication Client Services Department within Information Technology Services. Includes answering incoming calls for telephone, data port and customer service requests, supporting requests for installation, diagnosis and resolution of Telecommunications Services requests, and responding to incident tickets for these services. This position will be responsible for the processing of telecom services related orders for service installation, customer changes and cancellation of service. Working with billing system, ticketing system and University telephony systems.
This position will uphold the ITS core principles of outstanding collaboration and communication, a drive to succeed, a passion for higher learning, and acting with integrity.

Minimum Required Qualifications
Associate’s degree; work equivalency considered
4 years customer service or related experience
Experience with desktop computers and software packages, such as word processing, spreadsheets and database applications; required

Must have excellent interpersonal skills; required
Preferred Qualifications
Strong organizational skills and be detail oriented; preferred
Knowledge of analog telephone service features and programming; preferred
Posted Salary
$34,500/yr minimum
