Job Summary
The Lightspeed Construction Coordinator is responsible for the coordination and monitoring of Permits and Power Supplies into the Penguin Database to move the job flow and complete the invoicing process.

Major Duties and Responsibilities
- Monitor Permits and Power Supply Completion
- Add new incoming jobs into Penguin and upload all associated information including the NTP, Maps, designs
- Upload any incoming permit packages
- Pull reports as needed
- Break down the IR reports for RDOF regions on anything that exceeds 7 days.
- Upload the reconciled data into the database or management program.
• Follow up to make sure all jobs have a status (moved, completed, notated etc.) and monitor. • Pull reports out of Prism • Assist Managers with questions regarding billing changes or Penguin operations. • Communicating via email or phone with internal management • Tracking special projects via spreadsheets. • Actively and consistently supporting all efforts to enhance the Construction department • Provide clear and concise communication to various levels of the organization.
Tasks Required of a Construction Coordinator:
- Consistently perform all duties and responsibilities according to production and quality
standards and provide high quality customer service.
- Ensure required reports are timely, accurate and complete.
- Adhere to industry specific local, state and federal regulations, as applicable.
- Follow and enforce the Company’s policies and procedures
- Additional responsibilities may arise as dictated by our Customer.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of previous high-volume data entry experience
- Telecommunications or cable industry work experience a plus
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
Working Conditions -Office environment, Flexibility to work extended hours
- Supervise, coordinate, or schedule the activities of construction or extractive workers.
- Read specifications, such as blueprints, to determine construction requirements or to plan procedures.
- Inspect work progress, equipment, or construction sites to verify safety or to ensure that specifications are met.
- Locate, measure, and mark site locations or placement of structures or equipment, using measuring and marking equipment.
- Coordinate work activities with other construction project activities.
- Assign work to employees, based on material or worker requirements of specific jobs.
- Estimate material or worker requirements to complete jobs.
- Confer with Project Manager, other departments, or contractors to resolve problems or to coordinate activities.
- Order or requisition materials or supplies.
- Analyze worker or production problems and recommend solutions, such as improving production methods or implementing motivational plans.
- Train workers in construction methods, operation of equipment, safety procedures, or company policies.
- Record information such as personnel, production, or operational data on specified forms or reports.
- Provide assistance to workers engaged in construction or extraction activities, using hand tools or other equipment.
- Arrange for repairs of equipment or machinery.
- Suggest or initiate personnel actions, such as promotions, transfers, or hires.
