General Description
Performs dispatch duties for a leader in the telecommunication industry for Atlanta and surrounding areas. Duties include, but are not limited to; Communicating effectively with field technicians and answering multiple telephone lines; handling fast-paced situations; providing support for both Technicians and MSOs.
Supervision Received
Works under the direct supervision and follows standard procedures and written instructions to accomplish assigned tasks.

Performs multiple tasks simultaneously; Takes appropriate action when presented with stressful and time-sensitive situations; Provides Managers, supervisors, and Technicians with directions and new information in order to handle daily issues.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities. This is a partial listing of the necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities required to perform the job successfully. Knowledge of dispatching preferred; Listening and communicating exceptionally to effectively convey information verbally and in a variety of applications; Operating computers with demonstrated proficiency; Ability to speak with a clear well-modulated voice; Interpret communication and accurately enter data into a computer system.
Minimum Qualifications – Education and Experience
- High school diploma or GED required.
- United States Citizen or Naturalized Documentation
Applicants must be flexible to work various shifts, nights, weekends and holidays.
